I am in chemistry right now, but I am rather bored out of my mind, and a rebel, so I thought I would write something. I hope everybody is doing just dandily. School is almost over!

I am feeling a little overwhelmed right now. I don't know if I will get the job at Calvin Crest, and if I do I'm not so sure I will take it. Do you ever feel like life goes so quickly and before you know it, senior year is almost over? I have so much homework to do before tomorrow. I need to get my car looked at; I was supposed to do it 200 miles ago. I need to get my computers credit. I feel like I have a lot to do. I think I really just need to pray, a lot.

I took my senior portraits today, and let me tell you what, they're really stressful. My chin was either too high or my hair was always falling in my face, and the poses were never very comfortable. I'm glad this is one of those one time only type of things. But it was cool anyway, I guess.

My pants aren't feelin' so awesome. I'm a little stressed out right now. I just can't seem to right my essay, rather report, for government. I have stuff written, but it all seems like a load of poo that's in a word processor. Mmmm. I am also worried for all the people in Texas. The whole hurricane thing bites. I know I kind of joke about Jesus coming back soon so that I don't have to worry about homework or smelling like cheese, but sometimes I really feel it in my depths (whatever that means) that it's gonna happen soon, but soon might be another thousand years, who really know besides God, but I think all this crazy weather is part of nature crying out For the Lord. Sometimes I just find it hard to believe that all this destruction is part of God's will, and maybe this is the only explanation that little human Lizzie can come up with to make her feel better about what is going on. You all should help me pray for the people in the South that are trying to evacuate and the people who are staying put.

It's finally come. I am old enough to go to my own Senior Sunrise. It still doesn't seem real. I still feel a little kid, trying to figure things out. I always felt I had so much more time. Time for what? I'm not so sure, but I felt like I had a lot of it. I thought that seniors had everything together. Now I realize how false that is. I don't have anything together. I'll be honest, I am kind of scared of this next year. 180 days always goes faster than I expect, and once they are over, I will never really be able to go back to my childhood that I already sort of long for. I don't want to grow up. I don't want to be old. I just hope that I am able to fully enjoy each day that I have been given, not wasting my days waiting for the future or hoping for the past. I want God to use me here, today.

School started today. What a bummer, but I only have 179 days of high school left, ever. I know these are suppose to be your golden years, but I can't wait for this school year to end already. How's that senioritis for ya? I only have four classes at McQueen, but I am also taking computers by correspondence and I am taking math 283 at TMCC. I don't know how I will make it through the year. I hope God changes my heart, I just have this awful attitude right now. I'm sure he will do some really awesome things in the coming months, and I am excited about that, so see, my attitude is changing already, thank you Jesus.

I got my AP test results back today! I did pretty well compared to how I thought I had done on them. I got a 2, yeah, that is sort of a bummer, on U.S. History, but I wasn't really expecting a passing score to be honest. I got a 3 on Lit. and Composition. That is cool I guess, at least I get college credit for that. I got a 4 on my physics exam. That was a total surprise, but I am very happy about it. And last but not least, I got a 5 on calc BC! and a 5 on the AB subscore. I think the 5(s) made my week. I was going to be ober upset if I didn't pass that calculus exam. So yeah, that all, taht was my mostly good news.

So, I played softball for the first time in quite a while; it was fun though. I got there early and no one was at the field whatsoever, and then someone showed up from another team, and Dani and I asked them if we were at DonMello and they thought that we were from out of town. I thought they were weird. So there. Then I avoided warming up for a long time. But then I finally did. I had to, actually, I asked to play catcher. Then I made a fool of myself by not thinking before I spoke. And then I hit some and caught some. All around, it was a good game, despite the fact that I am not very competitive and we are in the A league. I think I might actually be looking forward to the rest of the season. Yay, go team!

So, I went to Whitworth to visit my sister. It was fun I enjoyed my time there. I think I want to attend that fine university. Vacation bible school went well. The kids were great. If only I knew what I was really signing up for when I decided to have four AP classes. Oh well, college credits are cool, I guess. I'm looking forward to the late starts this upcoming week. Today is super exciting because I don't have the normal activity that is called school tomorrow. Yup, so therefore, I will go fishing at Pyramid. I WILL catch a fish and then I will gut it, and eat it eventually, maybe. Oh, the Hammer Holds by Bebo Norman just started playing, quality song. It's so great that I don't have to sleep at a certain time, and get this, I actually get to sleep until my body wakes up on its own tomorrow! I have been able to do that since August. Band, need I say more? Who doesn't love sleep, honestly? And also, I don't have calculus tomorrow, which means, I don't have to finish my homework today. Which reminds me, does anyone out there know who to download programs onto TI-83 calculators from the internet? I need a Newtons law program, sorry tangent. Any way, I hope everyone out there has a wonderful Veterans' Day.
